Single machine with batch due dates, holding, tardiness, earliness and preventive maintenance

This paper deals with a single machine with batch due dates, holding, tardiness, earliness and preventive maintenance. In manufacturing industries, a penalty will occur when the jobs are not release within the due dates. We consider the different delivery charges for every customer. We consider a preventive maintenance for avoiding the machine breakdown. We formulated a mixed integer programming in this paper. When the job work is completed its holding and grouped into a batch, then the jobs are delivered to the customers for reducing the delivery charges. The problem has been solved effectively and the performance measure has been analyzed using Simulated Annealing (SA) and CPLEX.
