摘要

This paper introduces the Electric Vehicle Call Center (EVCC) in Jeju, South Korea, as an example of how a local government can provide more convenient and comfort environment to existing and potential electric vehicle users. The EVCC is to assist electric vehicle users or electric rental car users by answering their quires or responding to their requests. Since April 2015, the EVCC has received a large number of inbound calls, running 24 hrs and 7 days a week. This paper presents the EVCC's backgrounds, goals, and monthly calls received and handled. In this paper, monthly calls are analyzed and compared between electric vehicle users and electric vehicles rental car users in Jeju. Implications on information for electric rental car users are discussed.
