Automotive Qualification Routines for Power Electronics' Modules in Electrified Powertrains: The New ECPE Working Group 'AQG 324' Started Its Work-Presented at EVS 31 EVTeC 2018, Kobe, Japan, October 1 - 3, 2018

摘要

The evolutionary history, recent work and first results of the industry experts' working group founded within the ECPE (European Center for Power Electronics) association are illustrated. Derived from the "core-unit' of each power electronics drive inverter - the commutation cell - one of the two main components therein was under expert discussions and investigations about qualification routine demands regarding on the later usage in automotive vehicles: the power module. In this new working group considerations took place about which "state of the art routines' are already available and applicable together in general. As well considerations took place which routines are incomplete or missed from the perspective of automotive requirements and what has to be implemented absolutely new to assure automotive high level reliability and robustness demands.
