As part of the development of the U.S. 2017-2025 Light-Duty Vehicle Greenhouse Gas (LDV GHG) Emissions Standards, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) estimated manufacturing costs for battery and non-battery components of electrified vehicles through 2025. This paper describes the cost estimates for non-battery components that were developed for previous analyses for this rulemaking, and ongoing development of updated estimates performed to date based on a synthesis of newly available component teardown data and industry trends.
