Recently many new fibers, finishes and technologies have been developed that intend to enhance comfort or provide heating or cooling to the human body. Many of those technologies, especially in the realm of smart fabrics and technologies, either have transient effects or are reactive. Standardized tests, however, often do not measure transient effects as they are often focused on providing reliable and stable data.
