China has 5000 years of history and culture. Under the long history, tens of thousands of historical buildings have been produced. These ancient buildings carry the excellent historical culture for thousands of years. As the carrier of Chinese history and culture, ancient buildings have experienced the times. The degree of destruction is also increasing. Ancient buildings have their particularities, most of them are civil and wood structures, which are fragile. In addition to the man-made destruction, the damage to these ancient buildings is very large. It can be said that these cultural relics and architectural heritage have been completely unrecognizable, and some or most of the ancient buildings are seriously damaged and cannot be restored to their original appearance. With the advancement of technology and the development of intelligent products, a new path has been opened for the protection of ancient buildings, which can effectively reduce and protect the possibility of damage to ancient buildings. The article is the research point of the Dingcun site in Linfen City, Western Province, and explores how to use scientific and effective thinking based on the particularity of Dingcun's ancient buildings under the background of the intelligent era, and take the protection process of the staff as the starting point to explore the protection of ancient buildings.
