Impedance systems can be used to monitor central hemodynamic parameters. Precardiac impedance systems allow evaluate local heart structures movements. At the same time, the large number of electrode systems presence will make it difficult to perform long-term monitoring. To determine the minimum required number of electrode systems, evaluation of the electrode systems sensitivity with different geometrical parameters (distances between current and potential electrodes) and locations relative to changes in volume characteristics was made.
