Electrical Parameters of Chosen Organs of Abdominal Cavity and Their Influence on Electromagnetic Waves Propagation

The electrical conductivity and relative permittivity of chosen organs of abdominal cavity versus frequency for the popular ranges of VHF and LF have been presented in the article. They have been used for determining a dielectric loss angle tangent which constitutes the basis for defining the kind of medium in which the wave may be propagated. The change in the wavelength, its propagation speed in the organ and the conventional depth of the wave's penetration into particular organs were calculated.
