What kind of impact is more important? ...role of altmetrics indicators

摘要

The purpose of the work is an invitation to discussion on the role of altmetrics indicators in the scientists' awareness. There is a discussion about Open Access (OA) publications: do they have more citations and altmetrics indicators? What kind of publications have different results and why? The authors compare articles with high, low (only one) and zero citations indexed in Scopus and Web of Science databases. Both databases were also searched by titles of the most cited journals for occupational safety and health and electromagnetics.
