Development of Quaternary Ammonium Salt-Type Novel Ionic Liquids and Properties of Surfactants in Ionic Liquids

摘要

Ionic liquids are salts with melting point below 100 °C. They are known as environmental friendly solvent because of unique properties such as nonvolatility, high thermos stability, high ionic conductivity and high solubility for various materials. Recently, there have been some reports on self-assembly of surfactants in ionic liquid that is imidazolium salt type and amine salt type, however, there is no report on the self-assembly in quaternary ammonium salt-type ionic liquid.
