Improper work of Russian law-enforcement agencies as determinant of corruption-related crimes committed by government officials

Today, the issue of corruption is one of the most crucial issues along with the economic crisis, distrust of government officials and social unrest. The topicality of the issue is due to the increase of the corruption level and the need for improvement of the control of corruption. Studies on corruption in Russia help to reveal its characteristics, to develop efficient anti-corruption measures and to prevent corruption in the future.
