In this paper, the stress distributions of oil-gas separator shell of sliding vane compressor are researched. Sliding vane compressor is a kind of rotary compressor, is widely used in all kinds of medium, small compressing air device and small air conditioning refrigeration unit. In food industry and chemical industry, the compressor can be used to transferring and pressing gas. Sliding vane compressor can also be used for the vacuum pump. Compared with other compressors, the main advantages of sliding vane compressor are: high reliability, long time continuous operation, durable, long life, excellent performance, high efficiency, low operation and maintenance costs and energy saving. In this paper, the stresses of components are computed and the locations of max stresses of oil-gas separator shell are obtained. The results are significant for sliding vane compressor design and reliability assessment.
