Practice of CMMI in operational numerical weather prediction software project

摘要

Quality management for software development process is an important method to resolve problems of software quality. Based on the practice of CMMI (Capability Maturity Model-Integrated) in operational numerical weather prediction software project, combining project characteristics with CMMI demands, the actual experiences of CMMI software processes, like requirement development, project planning, technical solution, verification, validation, configuration management, measurement and analysis, and so on, are summarized. It is meaningful to make reference to deepen the comprehension to CMMI practice and to make further improvement of software processes. The results show that practical experience is of great practicality.
