摘要

This paper presents a novel cellular automata model-based train travel model on simulation of real traffic system with turning-back operation mode. The model is used to simulate the characteristic behaviors of return line train flow. With this model, the train flow in the case that different trains with different operation factors, for instance the number of trains and turning-back interval run in the same track is analyzed. The simulation results show that the differences in the number of trains, turning-back interval affect the train flow, and delay the following trains; with proper adjustment of these operation factors this model can serve to reduce the train's unscheduled stop and delay phenomena to a lower level; the suggested value in these factors is provided to guide the actual operation.
