Research on an efficient method for describing locations based on grid index

摘要

This paper analyzed domestic vehicle satellite monitoring system industry at present and put forward a new solution based on grid index aimed at satisfying the performance requirements of location description service in the system. Firstly, some key technical points such as basic concept of the system, index algorithm design, geographic data conversion, service initialization, and analysis algorithm process are given. Running results of software and performance testing of the system are shown at last. Having features of simple deployment, computationally efficient, and rich interfaces, this service software is able to meet the demand of current management system. It has already brought excellent effects in some projects and has much value to be spreaded.
