On the basis of an analysis and determination of soil C, N and P, the ecological stoichiometry, the different fencing time, C, N and P ratio of ecological stoichiometry characteristics were investigated. Therefore, there is an important instruction role for the degraded grassland protection and recovery between different enclosing years of grassland and free grazing grassland in Taipusiqi County in Inner Mongolia. Content and density of organic carbon, total nitrogen, and total phosphorus of 13 different ages of enclosing grassland (enclosed for 5 years, 7 years, 8 years, 10 years, 11 years, 13 years, 14 years, 18 years, 20 years, 21 years, 22 years, 24 years, 25 years) and free grazing grassland were analyzed. C/N is 17 from the soil of grazing grassland, degradation of grassland in the implementation of different fencing time measures, soil C/N is reduced to 13 for 14 years fenced grassland, and soil C/N is increased after 14 years enclosed, to 22 years enclosed, enclosure grassland soil C/N is higher than one of the free grazing grassland. Free grazing grassland soils N/P and C/P are higher than one of the enclosed plots, N has free grazing restriction elements, P enclosed plots restrictive elements. C, N reach the maximum, when soil C/N reached 13, so the time of degradation grassland enclosure is the best period for grazing.
