The reflection and deepening of Eco-Ethic Thought in the Sustainable Development Theory

Sustainable Development concerns the harmonious development of the Natural-Social -Ecological system and the continuation of civilization. It is not only a political-economical-technical issue, but it is affected by environment, population, consumption, industry, interpersonal ethics, etc. In a word, it is the value orientation and ethical responsibility to the environment of humankind. First, this paper summarizes the causes of internal shortage and misunderstanding of the theory and practice of sustainable development, then it puts forward an ethical foundation of sustainable development theory. Eco-Ethic Thought amends, enriches and deepens the internal shortage and misunderstanding of the theory. And the Sustainable Development Theory provides it a positive practice paradigm as well, so as to get rid of the dilemma.
