The new Romanian criminal legislation has major implications in terms of interpretation of legal norms, marking a new stage in the evolution of Romanian law. The interpretation of the criminal legal norm is facing a new dimension, that of a new mentality, different from the previous ones. The new mindset is at the confluence of the conceptions dominated of the European Union and those of globalization of new social values.
