The Prosecutor's Attributions on the Designation of Judicial Bodies Regarding Changing the Competence for Solving Criminal Cases

This paper aims at a succinct look at the prosecutor's attributions established by the criminal processual law on designating judicial bodies regarding changing the competence of resolving criminal cases. Also contained here are aspects on the change of venue of the criminal case, designation of another court for trying the case, appointment to another court for proceedings, transitioning a case from one criminal investigation body to another, remanding the case to another prosecutor's office or the regulation provided in art. 30 par. 3 of the current Code of Criminal Procedure. Also, the paper presents aspects regarding the institutions listed above in accordance with the provisions of the new Criminal Procedure Code.
