Considerations on the Juridical-Criminal Protection of Heritage

In this paper, after outlining the legal framework for the criminalization of offences against heritage in our old criminal regulations, the Criminal Code of 1864, the Criminal Code of 1936 and the Criminal Code in 1968, the author presents the contents of the criminal-juridical regulation of this category of offences in the new Criminal Code. In this regard, he examines the offences contained in the five existing chapters, however, putting emphasis on the novelty elements in relation to the provisions of the Criminal Code in force.
