摘要

The problem of thermodynamically efficient and scalable carbon dioxide separation and capture stands as one of the greatest challenges for current research in the field of energy.Processing of natural gas represents a very large industrial process relying most often on energy intensive absorber-stripper technology.In contrast, membrane-based technologies use much less energy and typically provide simple operating procedure that makes it extremely attractive for CO2 separation. However,the current polymeric membranes have several limitations for acidic gas separation such as low selectivity,inadequate temperature stability,swelling,and solubility in organic solvents.
