A simple device for response time measurement of patellar tendon reflex by using gyro sensors and microcontroller

摘要

We propose a simple device for response time measurement of patellar tendon reflex by using gyro sensors and a microcontroller without a PC. We examined the device to participate 8 healthy subjects. As a result, the response times were 19.9±8.24[ms], the values were stable respectively. There were individual differences in the measured value for each subject. It is implied that the device can detect the response of the patellar tendon reflex.
