The effect of injection of Gonazon~(TM) (GnRH analogue, Intervet International) on sperm parameters in sexually matured rainbow trout was investigated. Gonazon~(TM) at dose of 16 mugkg~(-1) was injected in the middle of spawning season. Sperm was analysed by CASA after 8 days. Spermatozoa motility and their fertilisation capacity were evaluated. A significant differences in sperm concentration were detected between Gonazon-treated and control males. Our results suggest that injection of Gonazon is able to significantly stimulate spermatozoa production in rainbow trout males.
