A Study on the Protection and Remolding of the Spatial Characteristics of a City in China

摘要

In order to soundly and sequentially guide the city construction of the spatial feature in China, the protection and remolding of the city's spatial characteristics, based on the related data, is analyzed in this study. Moreover, the concepts of the spatial characteristics and special landscapes of a city are defined. And the procedure of formation, protection and deterioration of the city's historical spatial characteristics is discussed. Also the relationship between spatial characteristics and culture legacies of a city is developed. Meanwhile, some regulations and methods as to city constructions in China on the spatial feature should be conscientiously followed. At last, some suggested policies and strategies are supposed to protect and reform the City's Spatial Characteristics.
