The Development and Integration of Historical Culture and Geographical Characteristics: On the Outdoor Environmental Planning Program Design of Hubei Provincial Museum

摘要

The historical and cultural landscape architecture planning is like architectural design, shouldering the mission of historical culture inheritance and reflecting the regional characteristics. In this paper, the outdoor environmental planning of Hubei Provincial Museum is taken as the example, taking consideration of the natural, geographical, historical and cultural features, then to develop the traditional art by such means as abstract symbols, the evolution of deformation, and integrating into the new material, to combine the new modeling with history, culture and geographical characteristics. Therefore, the author of this paper aims to explore and study the planning and design ideas of historical and cultural construction of landscape.
