The Rackla Gold Property in east-central Yukon Territory, northern Canada, is 100%-owned by ATAC Resources Limited. The company has had considerable success across the 1700 km2 property, including discovery of over a dozen new gold showings and definition of two new gold deposits. The discovery of the Osiris Gold Deposit occurred as a result of regional-scale exploration following the discovery of the Tiger Gold Deposit in 2008. A priority target area located approximately 100 km east of Tiger was identified in the federal government stream sediment database that was recognized to be highly anomalous for arsenic.In late June 2009, initial stream sediment sampling, soil sampling and prospecting were conducted over what is now known as the Osiris Gold Deposit. By September, 2010 discovery diamond drill hole OS-10-001 had been drilled, intersecting 65,.20 m of 4.65 g/t Au, including 31.13 m of 9.26 g/t Au. Seven of nine drill holes in 2010 encountered significant gold mineralization and the exploration rush began. A total of 78,614m of diamond drilling at Osiris was completed over the subsequent years and in June 2018 a maiden Inferred Mineral Resource Estimate was announced with 1,685,000 ounces gold at an average grade of 4.23 g/t Au in 12.4 million tonnes. An additional -8,000 m of resource step out drilling has been completed since the maiden resource was released, but has yet to be integrated into an updated resource. The Osiris Gold Deposit is defined as a Carlin-type gold deposit as it shares many characteristics with the Carlin-type deposits of Nevada, including: decarbonatization, silicification, gold hosted within arsenian pyrite, spatial association with realgar, orpiment, calcite and fluorite, and elevated As, Tl, Hg and Sb trace element geochemistry.Osiris remains open at depth and in multiple directions as we have only begun to scratch the surface of this exciting new discovery and emerging gold district.
