To borrow the words of Pierre Boulez: "speculations, to keep their validity, must integrate within a systematised whole; then, by their contribution to the theoretical edifice, they find their veritable reason for being, and will naturally tend to generality, the ultimate aim of the speculation". This paper is a speculative architectural and acoustic brief that finds itself within an extensive literature regarding the making of acoustics in relation to the evolution of the technology, the exploration of what is an auditorium in the twenty-first century, and recent literature examining drones in the creative industry. Developed from the point of view of an architect, it aims to bring questions towards an interdisciplinary perspective and to open discussion between specialists with regards to the design of contemporary auditoriums.
