摘要

The aim of this paper is to highlight the possibilities of efficient designing of gear mechanisms in the Autodesk Inventor Professional graphical system. Using the various special software tools, techniques and work methodology has a significant impact to the overall performance of the designer. The article describes the methodology that has been developed specifically for designing different types of gears. An example of the design of a combined transmission which consist from a single-stage gearbox and a belt drive gear is described in the using the application of the recommended work procedure.
