The paper describes the mechanism of oil displacement from the porous medium with the use of the water graphene suspension. The research showed that the contact of the graphene-based suspension with oil results in forming a transition microheterophase state in the Hele-Shaw cell. This state is formed due to the interaction of graphene nanoparticles with oil hydrocarbon molecules.
