A dye-sensitized solar cell (DSSC) is one of the promising solar cell technology that can be developed to the market. In the manufacturing of DSSC, the deposition ofsemiconductor nanomaterial on the substrate can be done by various methods, such as doctor blade, slip casting, spin coating, and others. These methods still have disadvantages such as the long steps and the possibility to damage the nanofiber morphology. This study examined the direct deposition method in the fabrication of DSSC. Direct deposition method is a coating process of TiO_2 nanofibers by electrospinning where the liquid jet electrospun of the TiO_2 solution will be captured directly by a conductive glass. This work varied the distance between a collector and needle tip as 5,7, and 9 cm. The increasing distance induced the smaller size of TiO_2 nanofibers and possessed the increasing photovoltaic performance of DSSC.
