Preface: Proceedings of the 4th International Symposium on Current Progress in Mathematics and Sciences (ISCPMS 2018)

It is a great pleasure for us to introduce the Proceedings of the 4th International Symposium on Current Progress in Mathematics and Sciences 2018 (ISCPMS 2018). The symposium has been successfully held in the Margo Hotel, Depok, from October 30th to October 31st, 2018. This year the symposium theme is Designing Basic Sciences for Implementing Development. The symposium call-for-papers had been responded by more than 150 participants coming from Indonesia, Malaysia, and Japan. The papers discuss various topics, including Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics and Physics, indicating the interest in this symposium is substantially intensified. We are also greatly honored by the contributions from keynote speakers originating from Malaysia and Japan, in the plenary morning sessions. The effort of the speakers to convey their ideas in their presentations is highly appreciated.
