摘要

The number of children with developmental disorders experiences an increase. This indicates that more children need special attention, so the role of the community, especially professionals in handling this issue, is becoming more critical. This study uses a literature review to identify the positive impact of treatments using individual and social approaches (non-medication) by examining 16 international journals related to therapy for children with self-regulation issues. The results of the literature review showed that therapies focusing on increasing awareness decreased disruptive and hyperactive behavior, and those focusing on increasing the function of working memory influenced self-regulation in children. In general, each therapy described below has its own effectiveness and can be combined according to the subject's condition and the purpose of the therapy.
