The purpose of this paper is to understand the status quo of self-disclosure and general self-efficacy of college students and the relationship between them. Methods: This study used questionnaires to conduct a questionnaire survey of 377 undergraduate students from four universities including Shenyang University of Technology. Results: Female college students self-disclosure total score, five dimensions scores (attitudes and opinions, interests and hobbies, study or work, personality, body), two target people's scores (mother, same-sex friends) are significantly higher than male College students; the self-disclosure level of college students majoring in liberal arts is higher than that of science students (p<0.01); the self-disclosure level of senior students (third and fourth year) is higher than that of lower grade students (first year and second year) (p<0.01). Male college students generally had higher self-efficacy than female college students (p<0.05). There was a positive correlation between self-disclosure level and general self-efficacy (p<0.01), and the general self-efficacy of self-disclosure high group was better than self-disclosure low group (p<0.01).
