摘要

Duckweed (Lemnaceae) is widely distributed in the aquatic surface water body. It has been frequently applied as a model plant in investigations in wastewater treatment, due to its advantage of rapid growth, simple structure, and easy control. The improved salt resistance AtAGT1 transgenic duckweed was used in this study to explore its growth condition in Weijin River. The results showed that AtAGT1 transgenic duckweed grew better in the Wei Jin River poisoned than those exposed in wholly DATKO medium. It would make some foundation for engineering design in the application of transgenic duckweed in water purification.
