摘要

The understanding of shapes in the real space takes place through a complex and articulated process that makes interact the visual and tactile perception, the acquired knowledge of a series of elementary geometric shapes and their derived and the capacity for mental modeling of space. The methodology has been inspired taking into consideration the mathematical procedures of spatial organization of complex shapes, through two case studies: the radiocentric vegetal morphologies and the reticular modulated waves in dome coverage. Analogical models were subsequently integrated by using modeling software and 3D printing, in order to integrate the learning of tactile acquisition of the space with the practice of virtualization of form knowledge. These experiences took place in the framework of recent Alternanza Scuola Lavoro procedures (work experience for students), integrating soft skills with the knowledge of ordinary didactic disciplines.
