The land-use in practice can have a permanent effect on the distribution of nutrients in soil. Meadow and forest ecosystems involve important processes like influencing nutrient cycle. It is crucial to monitor not only the changes in the land management and landscape cover, but also the changes of total organic carbon to total nitrogen ratio. The article summarizes the influence of land-use and vegetation on the properties of different soil types and deals with the possibilities of using parametric tests.
