The issue of mathematics anxiety has been discussed for several last decades [3]. Students often come to the universities with negative attitude towards mathematics and quantitative methods. The paper presents the results of research how students react to the education of quantitative oriented subject "Managerial Decision Methods" at the Faculty of Economics, VSB - Technical University in Ostrava. A modified Fennema-Sherman scale was used to measure student attitudes and their evolution during education [6].
