Water scarcity is one of the major problems being faced by major cities of the world. Many works have been done to control the switching on and off of the motor by monitoring the water level. This work can be claimed to be novel since it controls the motor operation by monitoring the flow of water which connects the pipe to the tank in addition to monitoring the water level. One has to keep on observing the water level of the tank to switch off the motor when its level goes below the predetermined level. The motor coil might also be burnt in the absence of water in the sump. An analogous water flow sensor is connected to the pipe which connects it to the tank. If the rate of flow of water is lower than the optimum level and when water level is high in the tank the motor is turned off automatically. Thus it saves the life of the water motor.
