The distribution changes of the large enterprises and the public welfare growth - an empirical research based on provincial panel data of China private 500 and state-owned 300 enterprises

Based on the research sample of the provincial panel data consisting of the top 500 private enterprises and the top 300 state-owned enterprises of China from 2002 to 2012, the paper uses Eviews 6.0 metrology software, and empirically studies the contribution and the effects of the regional distribution dynamic evolution of private 500 and state-owned 300 to the public welfare growth. The research results show that, the running scale of the top 500 private enterprises and the top 300 state-owned enterprises have a significant positive correlation on the public welfare growth, but there is a negative correlation between the number of enterprises and the public welfare growth, because that the number of the enterprises and their business scale have no balance. This paper also tests on the relationship between the operating income of private 500 and state-owned 300 enterprises and the welfare changes of the urban and rural residents from an annul and provincial perspective. Test results show that, on the promotion of public welfare growth in different regions, the top 500 private enterprises and the top 300 state-owned enterprise have a significant difference.
