Practical Experience with Implementation of Legal Regulations in Biomedical and Clinical Engineering in the Czech Republic

In the Czech Republic, the undergraduate education in biomedical technology and biomedical engineering, postgraduate and life long education are regulated by the Act No.96/2004 Coll. on non-medical health service occupations and related regulations. The Act and related regulations define position of technical personnel in the health service system and set the framework for all types of education in health care professions. The aim of the paper is to inform about practical implementation of the legal regulations and experience acquired in this process.
