摘要

The central difference methods, Newmark-β and Newmark-βγ, can be used in solving second-order ordinary differential equation. In this paper, the comparison of their stability and accuracy is made through theoretical analysis and numerical results. It is shown that the Newmark-βγ method is high both in stability and accuracy.
