摘要

Time and frequency transfer is a new application for optical links. Recently, some optical networks started to deploy it as a service. In principle, the time and frequency transfer is not possible to implement over data transport layer. The paper describes optical infrastructure for time and frequency transfer in the Czech Republic. The infrastructure is heterogeneous and utilizes resources of the Czech academic optical network. The paper also shows achieved results and indicates necessary steps for further transmission stability improvements in terms of possible ways of all optical bidirectional amplification.
