Influence of mineralogy on spiral performance of Tungsten ore

This study summarises work to characterise the deportment of tungsten bearing minerals within the spiral concentrator circuit at the Wolf Minerals Tungsten plant at Drakelands, Plymouth-UK. The aim was to assess circuit performance and inform future processing based on anticipated feed mineralogies. Representative samples were taken from the streams around the gravity spiral circuit at the points presented in Table 1 below.
