Successful Application of through Casing Logging Technology to Increase Oil Production in a Brown Field well

Oil Producers are challenged every year to keep their companies profitable. The challenge can be met by implementing technologically advanced solutions. One of the solutions widely implemented in West Siberia is drilling side-track horizontal wells. In spite of high efficiency, this approach requires high quality formation information for successful well placement and completion. One of the technologies that provide high quality formation evaluation data through the casing is four detectors neutron-neutron and neutron-gamma QUAD technology.
