Unsteady wind loading is shown to be an important component in predicting the low frequency, closed loop jitter behavior of the 3.6 m telescope. An analytical model is presented that examines the behavior of the telescope in the presence of wind loading with and without a baffle. Preliminary analysis of the load path suggests that the relatively compliant nature of the baffle may act to isolate the telescope from wind loading over a significant frequency range.
