ANSI EVSP has outlined existing Standards and Gaps. Energy Storage Working group has focused on gaps related to Recycling and Disposal of Waste and Damaged batteries. Stranded Energy is key to safety for second responders, handling of waste batteries. SAE, NHTSA/ANL have active working groups addressing Stranded Energy.
