Harmonic-structured materials with fine-grained and coarse-grained areas exhibit advanced mechanical properties. The harmonic-structured material consists of a network like fine-grained area and a dispersed coarse-grained area. In this study, a harmonic-structured Cu-Sn alloy was fabricated by mechanical milling and spark plasma sintering process. The harmonic-structured Cu-Sn alloy consists of the network like Cu-Sn alloy area and dispersed pure copper area. The harmonic-structured Cu-Sn alloy demonstrated high hardness as compared with the rule of mixture between pure copper and only Cu-Sn alloy.
