摘要

Our findings indicate that patterned ground landscapes in the high Arctic of NW Greenland have complex C exchange patterns at the fine scale with vegetated areas being CO_2 and CH_4 sinks and bare areas being CO_2 sources. Although our results shows an enhance in C loss in a warmer and wetter climate scenario, the overall future conditions in these regions will likely result in additional C sequestration due to increase in plant C uptake.
