Collision/Contact sports persons, particularly football and hockey players are involved in very high impact collisions during play. The player may be subjected to Concussion a medical term related to the disturbance in the brain function following a blow to head or a violent impact. This Concussion may result in to Mild Traumatic Brain Injury (MTBI). Often it is difficult to assess the severity of the blow to athletes who suffer head impacts during a practice or game situation and physicians, trainers, and coaches utilize standard neurological examinations and cognitive questioning to determine the relative severity of the impact and its effect on the athlete. The statement of problem is to generate medians of amplitude of the collision signal and build an output waveform reflecting the exact nature of variation of this impact, to be made available to medical team. If a medical data bank is available to relate the above data of impact with type of MTBI, the diagnosis will be more effective and less time consuming. This paper presents the details of the work related to the "Simulation and Real Time Processing Of Athletes Collision Data Using Accelerometer and MATLAB" in the virtual sports field to address the above statement of problem.
