摘要

This paper presents a novel idea for channel allocation in cellular wireless communication system using genetic algorithm (ga) in dynamic channel allocation (dca) scheme. Signal to interference ratio (sinr) is used as fitness function, by setting variable crossover and mutation rates; fittest channel to serve allocation is found. Thus reducing the congestion in the network. The result obtained can be used for assignment of the channel frequency and optimization of cellular radio networks in emergency to provide healthcare services in tele-medicine applications.
